TALLAHASSEE (February 20, 2025) – Today, the Florida Lottery (Lottery) proudly announces a monumental milestone—more than $48 billion transferred to the state's Educational Enhancement Trust Fund since 1988! This achievement underscores the Lottery’s ongoing commitment to improving educational opportunities throughout the Sunshine State. With each transfer, the Lottery continues to support initiatives that enhance student success and strengthen Florida's future workforce.

In addition to funding K-12 programs and school construction, the Florida Lottery plays a key role in providing students access to higher education through programs like the Bright Futures Scholarship. The Florida Lottery has contributed over $17 billion to support public schools in Florida, including K-12 programs and school construction, and more than $12 billion to public colleges and universities. Additionally, the Florida Lottery contributed over $9.2 billion to the Bright Futures Scholarship Program, including over $606 million in FY 2023-24.
