NASPL Launches New Brand and Websites as Part of Continued Efforts to Serve the Lottery Industry

CONCORD, Ohio (February 20, 2024) – The North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) today announces significant milestones in its 53-year history as the voice of the lottery industry in the United States and Canada. Included are a new logo, a modern website and a new online platform for the Association’s Insights publications.

It’s all part of a comprehensive brand refresh as NASPL introduces a new mission statement in its ongoing efforts to serve the lottery industry in the best way possible: To advocate for state and provincial lottery organizations on matters of general lottery policy and leverage collaboration, communication, education and information for the betterment of the industry.

“Our new logo embodies our collective identity as the unifying force supporting our members, reflecting our commitment to the advancement of the industry.”

The new logo reflects the four key regions represented by the NASPL membership, which includes 53 lottery organizations across North America. “It not only modernizes our visual identity but also better encapsulates the essence of NASPL as an organization,” explains David Gale, the Association’s longtime Executive Director. “Our new logo embodies our collective identity as the unifying force supporting our members, reflecting our commitment to the advancement of the industry.”

The completely redesigned naspl.org provides a wealth of information about the lottery industry, including a timeline of key developments since New Hampshire launched the first contemporary lottery in 1964, summaries of our lottery members and our associate member partners, details on how lottery proceeds are allocated in each jurisdiction, responsible gambling resources, frequently asked questions, and much more.

“It’s a place where we intend to inform, impress and share the tremendous impact of the lottery industry in North America,” says Cindy Polzin, current NASPL President and Director of the Wisconsin Lottery.

One of NASPL’s key functions as a trade association is to keep members informed of current trends in the industry and to share their achievements so that others may learn. Historically that was the primary role of Insights magazine, published bimonthly in print or PDF format. Now, Insights moves entirely online at nasplinsights.com, with new features added to our mix of compelling content that inspires and engages our users – all in a searchable, online format designed to easily navigate on any screen.

“As NASPL enters this exciting new chapter, our refreshed brand identity and digital platforms serve as testaments to our dedication and support of the lottery industry,” says Gale. “Together with our membership, we will continue our shared mission of advocating, educating and fostering collaboration for the betterment of the lotteries and the communities they serve.”
